Vancouver Reception 2012
Here is some
feedback:

I do want to say
a BIG "thank you" to you, R. Barker, L. Halliburton, and all others who organized
the Pacific Western Vancouver Reception 2012. It was a huge success and an
evening to remember! It was wonderful to see so many friends and former
co-workers. We were, and still are, a "family", and I feel truly blessed to be
a member! Congratulations to all for a job well done! Sincerely, J.
Goodall

Can you please
pass on my thanks to Ron Barker for all of his efforts and once again organizing
this wonderful event at the old Richmond Inn. Marilyn and I had a great time.
We got to touch base again with some wonderful people that I hadn’t seen in
quite some time. It’s absolutely amazing the number of former PWA people who
show up for these get togethers. I don’t know of any other company
or organization that former employees support these functions as the old PWA
crowd. Thanks. A & M McDonald

Please
pass on my personal thanks to the committee that put on the Reunion
so that all of us could have such a wonderful evening visiting and
catching up with all of our PWA Family! It couldn’t have happened
without them and it is much appreciated. F/A S. Mueller

I can't
even begin to express the joy I felt being reacquainted with so many
members of our PWA family. The turnout was so tremendous that it was
not possible to visit with as many folks as I would have liked.
Almost 500 people linked by a company that that hasn't existed for a
quarter century, still excited about seeing each
other....unprecedented. Sincere thanks to Ron and Laurie who had the
vision to make the magic happen. Their efforts made it possible for
all of us to feel young again, if only for a few very precious
hours.
I would like to acknowledge Lorne Key for his uncompromising effort
as our PWA Reunion Webmaster. Lorne's creative and disciplined
"labour of love" has kept all of us connected since the great event
planned by our dear friend and colleague L. Bangen and team 10 years
ago. In addition to Ron and Laurie's drive to make this happen,
Lorne has been the silent force that made the connection of so many
people possible. I hope Lorne is willing to continue because based
on what Glenys and I witnessed this past Saturday, our beloved
Pacific Western Airlines refuses to fade quietly into
history.....and that is a very good thing, indeed.
With fondest regards to all, Blair & Glenys Nadeau
